Insane People EVERYWHERE!

How perfectly appropriate to our crazy times!

“The Sane Society”, by Erich Fromm penned in 1955, fell into my hands, for free, a couple of days ago. What a trip down memory lane---his previous book, “The Art Of Loving”, was surely vital to keeping neurotic ME sane, back in the 60’s when I read it.

Consider the following quote, and apply it to the mad mullahs, Putin, Chavez, the Norks, and probably even Obama---

“We have reached a state of individuation in which only the fully develop mature personality can make fruitful use of freedom; if the individual has not developed his reason and his capacity to love, he is incapable of bearing the burden of freedom and individuality, and tries to escape into artificial ties which give him a sense of belonging and rootedness. Any regression today from freedom into artificial rootedness in state or race is a sign of mental illness, since such regression does not correspond to the state of evolution already reached and results in unquestionably pathological phenomena.” Page 71

Wouldn’t it be a hoot if the president simply told the REAL truth to these “powers”, that they are not worthy of “engaging”, any more than the insane idiot who thinks he’s Jesus Christ?

It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world, and the mixture of Obama--Carter on stroids and stilts---and the other fools in power who hate our American EVOLVED freedom, it seems to me, is damned to result in something logically expected---big TROUBLE!
