HERE COME THE CREEPY-CRAWLIES!

What a surprise! CNN was in bed with Saddam, all along! It's even worse than we thought. This goes beyond a biased point-of-view. The many-yeared behavior by this group of amoral fools passes into treason, since by not showing any integrity (when finding out about all the horrible depravities Saddam and his gang were doing, TO THE VERY PEOPLE WHO WORKED FOR CNN), and pulling totally out, and telling the truth, CNN was an ENABLER, an accessory to murder and torture.

I was wondering what the next HOT-MEDIA-MEAL would be, and, lo and behold, it's the MEDIA, itself! Just think of the infinite HUBRIS, of this guy, Jordan, to even tell the TRUTH, now, after Saddam has been deposed. He's so SET-IN-HIS-WAYS, he's been a Liberal GOD, for so long, that he doesn't have a clue about how DEPRAVED HE , Jordan, IS! Somebody just has to nail this guy, indeed the whole Enron-rotten-like story, to follow the MONEY-TRAIL = RATINGS, and ask if they would have done the same if they'd been granted exclusive rights to the Nazi regime, and had covered up the gassing of Jews. And, if Saddam or Hitler had WON, or at least not been removed, would they have helped keep it all a secret, forever?

What did the NEW YORK TIMES know, and when did they know it? The Washington Post? The LA Times? Actually, we need a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR to get behind the corporate shield, and find out the names of the top dogs, 'er humans, who were part of this cabal, this secret society. Let's rehabilitate the HUAC = House Un-American Activities Committee, so we can grill these communist moles, so we can drill them full of holes!

As a non-Catholic, the whole stinking-bomb of pedophilic priests serves to stoke the fires of my inherent suspicion of all papal, cardinal, bishop, all the way down, crap. Just so for the Media-Religion = Left-Wing Propagandists. I'm seeing an FBI Most-Wanted list of all the famous reporters, anchors, TV-personalities, of the last 43 years of my adult life. Ye gads! My gut intuition about these boobs was more right than I knew! One revelation needs HEAVY DUTY ADVERTISING! You know how it's said that politics contains wannabe actors, or that it's Hollywood for the ugly people? Orwell LIVES! It's EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE!

ACTORS are wannabe POLITICIANS!

The humans who rise to the top in the entertainment field earn their position by dint of born good looks, or talent, or nepotism. They PRETEND, for a few hours at a time, to be somebody else, but when they're NOT WORKING, they can relax and just BE THEMSELVES. But successful politicians! They are ACTING, ALL THE TIME! They are a combination of a street-fighter, a salesman, and an actor. The best at this profession are the LIBERALS! At least Conservatives, and some Republicans, have some core principles, to wit the value of all individuals and the evil of big government. BUT NOT LIBERALS!

The next time you catch a TV image and some sounds of Tom Daschle, say, try to collapse SPACE-TIME by playing HIM, accordion-like, from his birth through all the roles he played right up to today.
Then, go horizontal, and use this as a template with which to get into focus ALL LIBERALS, from the lowest dog catcher, through all levels of their power grabbing---hell, even go four-dimensional and capture every supporter of this deadly creed, like my 73 year-old atheist land lady. Self-same replications. With the peaks of the hierarchy those who have proven themselves to be the best at learning their KILLER, KILLING, PARTY LINES. In lock step they are marching, with locked jaws! True FASCISTS! Phalanxes lined up in a row, goose stepping over all our freedoms!

Mona Charen was pushing her new book, on C-Span, today, and to a question about Liberals and the UN, she sparked something with the word FANTASY---that's what she called their love of the UN. A recent devastating evisceration of Arabists, or Islamofascists, described them as FANTASISTS. THERE IT IS! What's the difference? Both ideologies, if realized, would be death to civilization as we have struggled to attain it---good-by human freedom! Hello big BROTHER! "LIBERTY"? Just another word to con the foolish little people with!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH AMERICAN FEMALES?

Charen also noted that a large majority of Democratic women were against the Iraqi war. I wonder if a happy outcome in Iraq, over time, which I fully expect to be chosen, will sober enough of them up, or are the women who consider themselves to be Liberals such a self-chosen set of closed-minded idiots that such anti-war sentiments are REALLY just polling data, du jour,, that masks their sole belief in abortion rights? Yeah---I bet that's it. We all know, love, and expect women to be different that men, at the core of their being---meaning they are BORN TO BEAR CHILDREN. So, it's the vagina crowd that would naturally find a home in the Democratic party, and a whole lot of them checked their brain in at the maternity ward! I see the type all the time as a sub. Females are also much less competitive, than males, so when the pubes start kicking in, it's almost impossible to put book larnin' on the same pedestal as becoming a momma. Not for all, of course---I'm talking tendencies. Perhaps the most salient feature of Liberal women, though, is their emphasis on abortion. What does this really say about them? They are locked in the sexual center for pleasure, above all else---LET NOTHING COME BETWEEN ME AND MY FUN! Love may conquer all, for mature humans, including responsible sex and the lawful creation of off-spring, needing a long time of work to raise, but for FREED WOMEN, it's "SEX IS ALL"!

LIBERAL'S HATE of AMERICA

Take a typical Liberal supporter. Member in good standing of the BLAME AMERICA FIRST club. What does this tell you? Maybe it's a subconscious admission that they are in the elite minority, and that those dastardly Un-Liberals are, and always have been, in charge---therefore, SOUR GRAPES. I know all about this one, as an ex-radical who totally believed I was completely right and superior to those who were in power---Nixon and gang, at the time. So, the enlightened way to receive this fact, the 'hating of America" by anyone, even by foreigners, is that they are telling you all you need to know ABOUT THEM. When Clinton and his Arkansas mafia ran America into the ground, I HATED IT, TOO. Therefore, have a good laugh whenever the OLD-MEDIA inevitably finds bitter fools, at home or abroad, to express their dismay and distaste of anything "American". Ooooh---an analogy: you know how Liberals like to use the data gathered into quintiles of the percent of Americans who make so-and-so-much money? And how the Conservatives have deconstructed this STATIC ANALYSIS, by proving that there's a lot of movement, especially from the bottom 20%, and the top 20%? Well, use this as a form to track the attitudes of people about "America", over the years. FLOWING OPINIONS HAPPEN. I think today, in the immediate after-glow of the removal of the Wall-Of-Tyranny in Iraq, when the still totally-biased mainstream press dredges up those humans living in Arab/Muslim places, who, like Pavlov's dog, spout the "I Hate America Party Line", that even THEY may win the American Lottery, and have their eyes opened, over time. For those who love and live in California, the recent (what, 3 or 4 years ago?) proposition that forced students to learn English was fiercely fought. But, now, after some years of amazingly positive results, a whole lot of those who worked the hardest to defeat it, are now the most passionately for it. As Ken Carey says in the "Starseed Transmission" book---don't banish, willy nilly, the people who were powerful figures in regimes that were overthrown. This idea is most appropriate, now, in Iraq--- leaders in bad systems, when those systems are destroyed, are still capable of serving at a high level. Of course, the hard part is to weed out the criminals, the ones who had the responsibility for the worst actions.

RE-INCARNATING ALL OVER THE PLACE

Only people with limited points of view follow Keynes's dictum, "In the long run we are all dead." What an IRRESPONSIBLE STATEMENT! Talk about a blind spot! It's not "When you're dead, you're dead." Okay, on a low level, this is a true statement. If you do believe this last saying about 'when you're dead', why not invoke it when you go to sleep, each night, since every new day you are a new person. Hey, each breath out, there "I" go, each breath in, here "I" come! In order to take ORDER to its proper RESTING-MOVING PLACE-TIME, we need to embed the Keynes saying in the following---

"In the longer run, we die and we are re-born."

STUPID or STOOP-ED?

It's the NOOSPHERE, STUPID!

As mankind processes the latest "hot news", and gets ready for the next idea-meal, while each individual lives out, and in, her or his own life, under the ultimate demand to look out for number one, what's the big deal, McNeal? A couple of seemingly unconnected recent events, in my life, deserve expounding, deserve pouncing on, pounding into an edible food for thought.

How are killing weeds and learning how to use the will and wisdom to develop the infinite memory we're born with, related? It's dandelion season, here. Last year, I took control of the back-yard lawn, and each new day, I'd use the proper tool to dig out each yellowing plant, getting as much of the root, as possible. This investment of time and focused energy was a great success, since the rest of the growing season I didn't have to waste any more time dealing with this problem----oh, maybe a few plants, here and there, I'd missed. So, imagine my surprise, this new year, to see the same problem begging for the same solution! Those dandelions have a supreme will to survive! Thus far, I've eschewed the same attack on them, as last year, but I am still determined to keep the pretty yellow flowers from progressing far enough to send their seeds all over the place. This means that every day, and sometimes twice a day, I 'do some exercise', for a few minutes, by removing all yellow standouts. At least I have them under control. As for memory, I spent an hour the other day with a guy learning study skills and a girl learning math. One of his tasks was note taking, which had an example of the notes taken from a Psych 101 class, that explained how memory works, and at the same time, the girl was struggling, because she had not memorized her times tables. My good old Uncle Art popped into my MEMORY, to wit, some old papers he had written his times-table facts on, way back in the 1910's, you know---5 x 8 = 40, say, over and over again, filling a sheet of paper on both sides.

What is the connection?

Forests, trees, paths, fields. We are each born into a field of utter DIS-ORDER, at our physical birth. One of the most ecstatic talks by my spiritual master occurred when a student asked Him about His early life, as Franklin Jones, of Long Island, New York. Da Love Ananda laughed, uproariously, and told the questioner he had to be more specific. Then, He confessed the following----Franklin Jones was a FICTIONAL CHARACTER (which, Da says, is what every person is, except they aren't aware of this fact, this CHOICE), a persona, that He chose, when he was about two years old. Da remembers crawling across a linoleum floor, with a puppy dog his parents had gotten him, coming over and licking His face, and from that moment, He became Franklin Jones, conventionally. As Da said, it became obvious to Him that His parents and all the other grown-ups weren't willing to live as God, so He had to decide to be their son, and play the conventional family game----for a while. He had to choose a PATH.

FORESTS---- this gross space-time, called Earth-in-2003, resembles a sink hole, a heavy-metal collection of the densest matter, and so, humans, with their sensory apparatus designed to pluck the correct visions, sounds, smells, etc, in order to survive, have used GROUP-THINK, over time, to create the extant reality newbies must navigate within. This means that the PATH, the TIME-SPACE arrow chosen by each one, necessarily, blasts away a lot of the over-growth, in order to MAKE ORDER, to clear some SPACE-TIME within which to PLAY. And, we are constantly living as a RE-FORMATION. New paths are always---NEW! Thus, the exuberance of dandelions, together with the desire of humans to create their own chosen gardens, continually compete, continually find new ways to find their own niches. And, fresh children are ever faced with "TIMES TABLES", in burgeoning and variegating forms, which are simply offers to create pathways to knowledge, ways to arrange the clutter of the 'furniture' left over from their progenitors.

STUPID

The word, STUPID, has long suffered a negative, put-down connotation. Very UN-PC. Let's try to excavate some of its valuable, TRANSCENDENTAL implications. Keep It Simple Stupid, or KISS, used to be a very useful rule to live by, but nowadays you have to talk, carefully, and prepare others for the word, STUPID, if you want to share KISS with others. Of course, for the politically alert, "It's the Economy, Stupid" is the hands-down winner for the latest use of STUPID, no? Well, I had to look it up. The Latin precursor means 'to be stunned, to be amazed', and the Indo-European root is 'steup', 'to strike'. The dictionary says, "see 'steep', which means to strike, to butt". It STRUCK me that here, again, we have primal evidence of the unavoidable MYSTERY, Radiant Transcendental Being, also known as Divine Ignorance. What else can A-MAZED really mean, when one drops the verbal habit? You know---some words point to other words, so we live in a never-ending paradoxical circle, but, I believe every word truly indicates the way out of its own apparent trap. So, with STUPID, maybe the way, or TAO, to see it, in all its ENLIGHTENING GLORY, is in those most special events, such as a Zen aspirant experiencing Satori, or even in some times of danger, when all one's CW beliefs are totally gone, and a heightened sense of Present Awareness stuns and amazes one into complete emptiness. Even on a conventional level, since hierarchies are the form, certain people 'have charisma', which is attractive enough to dazzle and strike one into actions most unconventional---Hitler had it, and so do many other actors.

STOOP-ED can be STOP-PED

There's a dumb old joke about an old farmer, who is 'stoop-ed', a play on the word, 'stooped', meaning that he's bent over from a lot of stoop labor, not that he's STUPID. Returning to the glorious PATH we all choose, our own special journey, it seems to me that you could indeed say that each of us DOES STOOP, does BEND, in the wind, at the fork in the winding road, every instant, over a life time. And, thus, we are STOOP-ED. What else does 'Old dogs can't learn new tricks' mean? As an aside---one of the cheap jokes by CW types, at the expense of people who choose to follow a Guru, has to do with the actual physical action of bowing down to their Spiritual Master. As if, THEY, in their superiority, never would be so weak as to bow down to THEIR own CW masters---none are so blind as those who refuse to see. And, if ever there was a fact of life that deserved more acknowledgement, the one that's unseen is it: we can NEVER see behind our HEAD! Hey, we even KNOW we have a blind spot, but we put this fact out of sight, MAN! So, as we wend, and bend, along our uniquely chosen path, from birth till death, as psycho-physical entities, called human beings, maybe it'd be wise to be a little STUPID, a lot of the TIME! This STOOP-ED, which is STUPID, could also be word-played into STOP-PED. As in "Stop the mind". However, it's never so BORING as all that, since ALL simultaneously EMPOWERS each being, even the lowdown humans, such gross beings, with a BULL-DOZING creative ability. This aspect of life, for me, is evident in the never-ending creativity of youngsters, when they use their born 'freshness' to find ways to laugh at all the 'old-timers' and their attachments.

CHOICE IS ALL----IN ACTION

Believe it or not, what I was planning to get into, today, was more extemporaneous 'dumping' about the "It's the NOOSPHERE, STUPID" saying. And, as a current event to spring off of, the whole conflict between the Anti-War crowd and the Pro-War crowd, wrt 'PATRIOTISM', was to be the germ, the seed that needed tending. Okay. It's about FREE SPEECH. That is, it's about WORDS, which is what the coin of the realm is in the NOOSPHERE. What is 'PATRIOTISM'? In CW terms, we all know that the word comes from 'pater', or 'FATHER', and so PATRIOTISM is supposed to mean an attitude by a human of faith towards and for the LAND and COUNTRY or birth. More or less. And, we have the clever and applicable saying, such as was used in Iraq, "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." What I have to say is this--- the transcendental understanding, that has to be what the statement, "It's the NOOSPHERE, Stupid", points to, has NOTHING to do with this ancient definition. Americans who fight for, and otherwise defend, the US Constitution, are patriots in a higher sense. Someday it had better become COMMON WISDOM that the so-called 'country', America', is on a higher, more transcendental level than ANY OTHER country. The time is long past for stripping away all the baubles and bangles, positive and negative, which are recorded in the history from 1776, since all of that is a detriment to the living and glowing ember, which is all that matters, and that means the UNIVERSAL FREEDOM which ALL HUMANS are BORN WITH. All the words and laws and events since 1776 are dangerous black holes, without the trumping by this TRUTH. So, when we get into the whole PATRIOTISM GAME, almost all the humans playing are expressing their sheer ignorance of this over-riding fact. The worst of the CW STUPIDITY, no doubt, is the amoral way some people try to use it to advance their own cause, like a John Kerry. So low down! And, the Hollywood types, like a Tim Robbins, who "GO POLITICALLY BALLISTIC", and then, when they are criticized, claim they were BEING PATRIOTIC, by using their right of FREE SPEECH, and conveniently ignoring, but actually congenitally blind to, the fact that those who criticize them ARE ALSO EXPRESSING THEIR FREE SPEECH RIGHTS. You step in dog doo, you.....

A LARGER RE-FORMATION

All the above is meant to flow with the times we live in, which are many years away from the needed HUGE RE-FORMATION that's coming---or else! Al the built-in PATHS and TREES and FIELDS that individual humans currently are, will have to play out their levels of understanding, so the aftermath of violence in Iraq can be seen as a dipping-stick read, of the murkiness of mankind's oil, and the dire need for an oil change! America must take the FREEDOM lead, and be in the forefront of the coming RE-FORMATION. The tip of the SPEAR-SPIRIT. AMERICA must come to be understood as a code word for FREEDOM, so that the many millions of humans, who live ANYPLACE, can come around to being able to say, with Heart Felt Love, "I LOVE AMERICA", and indeed even bow down to the GURU---FREEDOM, for which America shines, and IS.

ALL IS CONSCIOUSNESS

Ultimately, when enough humans become AWARE of all this, and start acting their NEW AGE, there's going to be a lot of belly laughter going on! The floor and the chair and the walls and even the computer ARE CONSCIOUSNESS. Imagine THAT!

Fit to Print?

Let's PLAY "NEW YORK TIMES".

What is the "New York Times"? I'll go back to an initial split, the day when the Declaration of Independence was born, which just could well be the most important seminal document for all of mankind. What flowed from this? "YOU'RE EITHER WITH US (for FREEDOM!) OR YOU'RE AGAINST US". Now, I don't pretend to know the real history of the NYT, but I feel pretty sure I can safely categorize this rag as fitting into the LOYALISTS to King George "AGAINST FREEDOM CROWD". As the leading distorting-light, centered in OLD AMERICA---the East Coast---it's not disputable that the history of this opinion-spouting organ is, and has long been, of a Liberal cum Socialism-Big Government MOUTHPIECE.

So, over (NEW YORK) TIME, the evolution of this entity (which is, after all, simply the ever-changing FRATERNITY-PARTYING-ON group of secret-hand-shaking penises), just like a bird, say, will follow Darwin's theory of adapting, trying to survive, and thrive, as the fittest, It has become the DINOSAUR we've all come to hate and bemoan, of late. I bet the COMET of the Internet, which struck the noosphere with an exponentially widening and self-reinforcing thrust, outwards, around 1994, is in the beginning phase of cutting off the sunlight for this Liberal Organ.

All the News FIT to print

Posturing as the reliable source of "What's Happening", the slogan about the FITNESS of the NEWS, which may have been more or less true, at one (NEW YORK) TIME, has certainly exhibited the way evolution-devolution can obtain. "FITNESS" has morphed from 'relevant' and 'useful', until NOW, it means "FITTING the LIBERAL-EXTREME LEFT WING POINT-OF-VIEW". It's as if Jane Fonda set up a mental work-out FITNESS CENTER, there, and you can guess which muscle groups her regimen would accentuate! BIG MOUTHS! STRONG VOCAL CORDS! A whole lot of chairs, so one can ignore the legs and other physical muscles.

The Newspaper of RECORD

George Orwell would be proud of the RECORD of the NYT! Mind, I admit to being a close-minded lover of the WSJ (most of the editorial page, that is). Only a few times have I chosen to read something from the NYT editorial page. It always struck me as idiotic. This is my informed bias. I let others, who I've read and seen on TV, who have proven out to be CORRECT, do the hard work of PICKING the NITS from the bilious bilge from the bloated lefties at the NYT. However, we JUST MUST have some fun with the hoary self-adopted saying, "THE NEWSPAPER OF RECORD". Of course, there has to be a biggie in any dimension, that's merely the hierarchical form in action, so since New York has been the largest metropolis in America, since the beginning, it was inevitable that the largest circulation paper would emerge in that area. Probably, at the peak of its power, the idea that the NYT was the newspaper that could be the final arbiter, the NEWSPAPER OF RECORD, was true, mostly. And now?

What does RECORD mean?

All REPORTERS and all RECORDERS are RE-ACTORS. They are DERIVATIVES, in ACTION---they are in an ARENA, which is important, but they RELY (RE-LIE?) on the CORD MAKERS! So many RE's, so many "AGAIN's", so many RE-GURGITATED and RE-EATEN meals! The Iraqi War is a perfect example. The actual humans who dashed across that real estate, shooting and being shot at, are who count. And, what's the BIG NEWS, acCORDing to the NYT, and the other news media? Embedded RE-PORTERS! Well, let me chase the cut. The NYT is a LIBERAL FILTER, which takes the murky "water" of myriad events among 6 billion humans, and shoots out a stream of polluted sewage! They have illustrated the old adage that A is NOT-A. Or, maybe that the regulators become the captives of the regulated. Or, most likely, that they become jaded, at best, and absolutely without a ground, at worst, essentially like an old person who ate junk food their whole life, and who's now in an old folks home, in complete confusion, but still full of spunk----you know, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is not, and at the same (NEW YORK) TIME, they forget why they are still fighting, and for what?

CORRECTIONS

What provoked this PLAY was the whole idea of printing CORRECTIONS. Let me just write it----
the NYT is now ONLY CORRECTIONS! Or, to be kind, "CORRECTIONS IN WAITING", since down the TIME-LINE, everything that FITS THE NEWSPAPER will have to be CORRECTED. And, then , who will have TIME? Yes, a dinosaur that needs to be as large as it is, in order to find places to store all the FAT UN-NEWS, which will be corrected in one big IMPLODING HEAT DEATH.

POLITICAL CORRECTIONS

There can't be a better icon for the whole PC concept than the NYT---give it credit! But then, this is a vacuous statement, a chaotic idea, since it means that each person in the organization can write anything! Factual? Hell, who cares--- we ARE the NEWSPAPER of RECORD, and if we write it, just this WRITING MAKES IT TRUE! HUBRIS BITES, SOON ENOUGH!

CORE RECTUMS

Usually the word CORE can be used to indicate the sine qua non base of anything, so we can easily say the CORE of the NYT is LIBERALISM. RECTITUDE may offend them, since it smacks of a hell-fire and brimstone preacher, beseeching the multitude to REPENT, to come to the RIGHT-SIDE, the RIGHTEOUS CAUSE. Well, in a way, LIBERALISM is a RELIGION, since most people of this persuasion are atheists, or at least loose as a goose when it comes to religion. What I wanted to say, though, was that the CORRECT way to REAM these ASSHOLES, at the NYT, is to get to the BOTTOM of the BIG STORY---their RECTUM. As one who has been privileged to see humans who abused their body, to the extent of being so stopped up, they needed a colonic to have a good dump, with a body so rigid they could hardly walk, compacters in motion, maybe this is the way to understand the devolution of the NYT. From a youthful MOUTHPIECE, until today, with a squeaky voice, but a BUTT that's barely functioning, that's bursting, almost, since it's so full of held back waste products. What a sphincter muscle the NYT must have! What a place to have an enlarged muscle!

CORE CONVICTIONS

Well, at the BOTTOM LINE, it seems like the obvious truth is that the NYT has a fatal disease. Perhaps this screed has finally gotten to the BOTTOM of the NEWS FIT FOR A CORRECTION!

FAME FEEDS OFF of MISFORTUNE

"GET ALONG, LITTLE DOGGIE, IT'S YOUR MISFORTUNE, and NONE of MY OWN"

Remember that cowpoke ditty? How about---"APRES MOI, LE DELUGE"? Let's de-construct the leading black-light of the Freedom-Obstructers, France. No need to go into all the glorious and vain-glorious history of this country. Suffice to say that if one wants to understand the present WORLD-FACE of any country, it is possible to apply the evolutionary model, from biology, to the mass of humans who inhabited that boundaried landscape, over time. What is the most recent DNA, say going back about two hundred years, with the most recent events being more pertinent? France is like a dis-functional family, and has suffered from the failure to establish a Constitution such as America has. The chaos that started in the French Revolution has continued, to this day. In a way it's totally logical. When one considers the salient aspects of France, today, what do they tell us? Haute cuisine, and sex galore---
LIVE FOR TODAY! After me, the flood! With a truly brilliant cast of geniuses, from Descartes, DeBrogio, Pasteur, etc, etc, who were world changers, way back when, until the recent a-moralists, such as Sartre, Foucault, and all the DE-CONSTRUCTIONISTS, you can see where they lost their moral bearings.

The insight that came to me, this morning, was that a Chirac and his coterie, resemble all those stock manipulators we have learned about, in the USA, since the bubble burst. Those people who are driven to succeed the most, the creme de la creme, are the most egoic among humanity, and their goal is either one, or both, of FAME and FORTUNE. In the political sphere, the addiction that a lot of attention on ME brings, when married with A-MORAL Frenchmen, means that ANYTHING GOES. I'm picturing a stock-pushing boiler room, with all the Chiracs behind the fraud, and their FAME rests completely on the manipulation of the stock price---in politicians case, it's the price of 'opinions'. That is, a Chirac will play his countrymen for suckers, since he ARE ONE, and he knows exactly what their weak points are---most Frenchies fry in their own juice, that same old "Apre moi le deluge" attitude. False pride, when hardened and uninspected, indeed, un-inspectable---impeccably spectacular!---is easy to con into buying the latest 'stock tip'. So, as the USA wound up, and started to pitch the freedom BALL at the dictator in Iraq, a Chirac could keep the stock price of his FAME bubbling too high, even as the rottenness of the "company-that-Chirac-keeps = Saddam" was being increasingly exposed. Well, today, it looks like the con has been broken. The time for a perp walk is at hand---the feed-trough, the MISFORTUNE of the IRAQI slaves, is kaput, so, when the 25 million freed Iraqis start screaming their horrible tale, just as the ovens at Dachau and Treblinka and...did, after WW II, it is going to be very interresant to see how the average Frenchman tries to square previous opinions with cold hard facts. Talk about cognitive dissonance! What will all the Muslims in Europe now say, when they are overwhelmed with fellow Muslims who were victims of a Muslim HOLOCAUST?

KRUGMAN WIGS OUT

I wonder when Krugman will become yesterday's news? He is, of course, but one of the point men for the Liberal Economic Agenda, a wide con-tributary---- A CON, who pays TRIBUTE to the big-government liberal eschatology---who gets to have his flacking words read by those who subscribe to the New York Times. As such, he's mostly preaching to the choir, those who long ago solidified into left wingers, who are totally close-minded to anything smacking of right wing scribblings, especially supply-side ideas. Maybe someday, soon, he and his brethren, will ONLY be the butts of any attention, since enough time and clear analyses will have shown him up for a fool. Come to think about it, he's in the same sphere as Chirac! The NYT is a BOILER ROOM, desperately seeking excusin' for the plantation-wing of politics, that feeds off the ongoing MISFORTUNE of the suckers off of big government. Inner-city blacks, members of government unions, teachers, et al. For example---a very touching, to me, program on PBS, the other night, followed a woman's path back to Vietnam, as she met her mother, who'd given her up, since she was half-white, to adoption to some woman in Tennessee, when about seven. A lot of the show was in Vietnam, and what came through was the extreme differences in values, and economic conditions. Her relatives wanted her to send them money to take care of her mother, and the poor AMERICAN girl was completely offended, and couldn't wait to get the hell outta there! When will enough people, on the margin, start feeling the same way, about all the Krugmans of the world? It's coming!

MAD about YOU

The next domino to topple should be North Korea. But, since the dictator there has nukes, we all know that the way the future is played out will be very different than what just was done in Iraq. Here's a question that has become a sine qua non, ever since the Vietnam debacle, for the USA---"What is the end game, the exit strategy?" Let's turn this onto Kim Il Sung. What could the end goal be for him? Probably a Hereditary regime, eh? Talk about extreme NARCISSISM! He wants an impermeable border to allow him to keep power, forever, and the hell with his slaves! Well, self-interest has to be the trump card for all the players in danger of being targeted by North Korea. Maybe the old model, that worked so well, for so long, Mutual Assured Destruction, MAD, will come off the assembly line, again. If North Korea continues to grow its nuclear capability, we should let them know that we will help South Korea and Japan to out-produce them, and let China know they are irrelevant. Look---the nuclear genie is out of the bottle, and if the bad guys, China and North Korea, want to spend hard money on these weapons, what choice do the good guys have? At the same time, of course, the development of SDI can continue, apace, and even at a faster pace. It seems to me that North Korea is at least as well controlled as Iraq was, so the hoodlums who suck off their slaves are most likely as cowed and controlled as their minions. This means that as long as they are not suffering, themselves, the chances for a coup are pretty low. The free world has been had, due to the criminal and treasonous acts of Clinton, which allowed N.K to go nuclear. The only choice, now, I think, is to re-double the efforts for SDI, at least. Just got to stop any chance of nuking anybody by N.K. The fact they have so much artillery aimed at South Korea also means any war would be too costly. Sadly, the only real choice for the slaves in N.K. is for an uprising.

I Wonder What Jesus is Doing, RIGHT NOW?

As I ponder my spiritual master, who is alive, RIGHT NOW, attached to Earth and breathing the atmosphere, somewhere, physically, I wonder what He's DOING? What is the Dali Lama DOING, RIGHT NOW? How about Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, Mohammed, Nityananda, Ramana Maharshi, Muktananda, Huang Po, Chuang Tzu, Bodhidharma, .....? Some of the freely given SHINES in the "Christian" place, called America, are the heart-felt confessions by self-admitted, and proud of it, Christians, like a Cal Thomas and a Chuck Colson, among others, who unashamedly mix into their commentary references to this 'part of themselves' that they consider to be the most important. Recently, it was reported that Bush uses code phrases to indicate he's with it. He freely and happily acknowledges that he prays, and that he is sure he is assisted by the prayers of many other Christians.
"THY WILL, NOT mine, BE DONE" For all liberal secularists, anything that smacks of an appeal to a higher power, even basic prayer, conjures up FOOLISHMENT. Just as a lot of skeptics pooh pooh the concept of Harmonic Convergence. Well, there's a lot more to reality than PHYSICAL-ness!

Consciously BREATHE, and there is JESUS, BUDDHA, etc----physically!

To go ahead and leave the reservation, let me mention a Nova program, from last night, on PBS, that spent an hour exploring the latest astronomical investigations of Super-Novas, which seem to show that the Universe is not only NOT GOING TO COLLAPSE back into a BIG CRUNCH, but that it is expanding EVER FASTER. The very interesting current findings, to me, though, had to do with the play of MATTER and ENERGY. It seems that 2/3rds of ALL is DARK ENERGY----that is, ENERGY that's not detectable, but inferable. SPACE is not EMPTY, truly, so this DARK ENERGY is even called VACUUM ENERGY. It SUCKS! What about the other 1/3rd? Maybe you've heard of DARK MATTER? Apparently most of the MATTER in the Universe is DARK---inferable, but not detectable. I forget the exact percentages, but I'm pretty sure that the percentage of the ENERGY-MATTER of ALL-THAT-IS, which we solid-seeming humans can FEEL, with even the best man-made sensors, IS AT MOST 10%. Hmmmm? I wonder where JESUS is, RIGHT NOW?

OPEN for BUSINESS?

What is the New Frontier, which is mostly unacknowledged, by CW---NO SUPRISE!--- but which is the distilled essence of all the vital events flowering, across human-land, today? What is happening in ECONOMICS, POLITICS, RELIGION, THE PENTAGON, EDUCATION, TRIAL LAWYERS, HOLLYWOOD, MASS MEDIA, what have I left out? AGRICULTURE, SCIENCE, PSYCHOLOGY, ROCK & ROLL, NEW AGE, SOCIAL SECURITY, DRUGS, RACISM, SEXISM, AGE-ISM, all -ISMs? Come on, you know! Just because it is NO SURPRISE, since it is the ubiquitous "OLD FAITHFUL" form of flowing and flowering, like breathing AIR, it is the life-sustaining INVISIBLE action of ALL THAT IS. Give up?

OPENNESS

As I typed in that word, "OPENNESS", my thoughts mysteriously threw up, VICTORIAN AGE. Human reality, indeed all realities, UN-FOLD. ALL THAT IS hates boredom, so what is loosely called 'EVOLUTION' can be seen as the regular playing out of the appearing 'stuff'--- Good old Hegel had something of the essence of IT ALL, if you don't get too picky, and take him as the final WORD. So, contrast the BUTTONED-DOWN 19th Century, and even the time before the Timothy Learys escaped onto the scene, with what's dominating humanities blooming of a million points of light. Who's on the right side of the play?

HONESTY is the ONLY POLICY

Let me list the ways this NEW FRONTIER is being expanded, tamed, civilized, LOVED---

1. ECONOMICS---the watch word is FULL DISCLOSURE. The twin towers of MEN-BEHAVING-BADLY and getting their JUST REWARDS, and of MEN-BEHAVING-HONORABLY and being correctly held in high esteem, as well as the understandable attempts by grand-standing politicians to look good, by doing something about the despicable criminals.

2. POLITICS---the difference between a Clinton-Shady-Character and an Upfront-Bush couldn't be much more obvious. In America, the whole Liberal-Conservative war has been reaching for resolution, for decades, ever since FDR, with the obscurative NATURE of Liberals becoming more and more apparent, and the Clarifying straightness of Conservatives also standing taller, and taller. Guess who's winning? Worldwide, the same LIGHT OF TRUTH is exposing all the flaws in Socialism, and the gems in Capitalism, so even the Old Europes of the world are expressing this BRIGHTNESS-A-COMING.

3. RELIGION---whoa! What a book could be written about all the fissures, and extremely obvious threads being braided in this dimension! Catholic priests as pedophiles. Islamofascists walking the talk of their anarchy. Leaders of main-stream churches still infected by the Liberal Theology disease, about as far from what used to be called RELIGION, as possible---they've decided to turn so much on its head, that despite appearances, the best way to bust the 'reasonable images' they show, is to re-view them, in your mind's eye, with their heads in the ground, their arms flailing about, and their feet in the air, ready to kick anyone who dares defy them. Even though the moderate, and preferred churches, with leaders who are on a higher level, by espousing TOLERANCE and COOPERATION, still dominate---the most salient witnesses of this GLORY are GWB, and his Attorney General, Ashcroft, profoundly certain of their faith--
with the new "UNIFICATION CHURCH" silently, secretly, seeding its Transcendental Truths, into all the PROVINCIAL RELIGIONS, soon enough, even here, a NEW OPENNESS will provoke even more surprising REVELATIONS.

4. The PENTAGON---embedding reporters is about as smart an antiseptic imaginable. Also, the 'war' between Rumsfeld and the 'OLD MILITARY', about modernizing our defenses, is also getting much needed scrutiny IN PUBLIC. Women in the military is at attention, front and center, and will demand true clarity and probably spank NOW, et al, for their idiocy. The rape charges at the Air Force Academy--more LIGHT!

5. EDUCATION---school choice, state budgets out of control, laying off teachers, excessive influence of teacher's unions, etc. As more and more is known, just like the USSR----ASH CAN.

6. TRIAL LAWYERS---with a Bush in the White House, with an MBA, with a Frist as Senate Majority Leader, as a Heart Surgeon, with Hastert as House Leader, as an ex-wrestling coach, to contrast with the extreme left, and getting more and more extreme, as effectively the PUPPETS of the trial lawyers (and teacher's unions, and other unions), with the up and coming eighteen month window of opportunity, until the next federal elections, during which Bush can shine the light on these maggots, well....SQUIRM!

7. HOLLYWOOD---does any awake person think that the clarifying actions of the elites, as epitomized at the Academy Awards, will be forgotten? Who's going to change? The spoiled-rotten 'stars', or the public? On the margin, the disinfectant of TRUTH has lots of places left to clean up, so look for more and more cleaning up of the horse stables, known as entertainment, over time. Remember, the baby boomers are coming into old age, so they will probably dominate this 'culture realm', so that that old image of search lights in the air, announcing a new flick, will have been turned within. Look for a lot of soul searching, by the system---but, since there's no there, there, the humor will be worth it!

8. NEW AGE---this one has a special meaning to me. After all the hopes and dreams from the days when hippies were powering with flowers, and all the Deepak Chopras and other 'gurus', like Wayne Dyer, through the years, as of right now, it sure doesn't seem as if much has changed, or that the trends are for a change away from the regular old "Might makes right" power politics. Maybe it's possible to take a vital lesson from the Iraqi War. A single man, Saddam, was able to control a singularly brutal and effective gang, the Ba'athists, which had its tentacles so completely on the testicles of all men, and their women, that public fealty to KING-GOD SADDAM was not just wise and prudent, but LIFE SAVING---all bow down to the Pharaoh! Just so in an advanced society, like the USA. With the hard lessons learned, merely by living for a long time, and experiencing the deaths of relatives and loved ones, as well as the just pains and travails a foolish life brings, in the same way that a wood stick is whittled into a rigid functional form, it seems that a lot of the youthful realizations and dreams are out grown. And, yet? I am alive. Many people LOVE the Dali Lama. Polls show a large percentage of people are closet 'fringies', if in private. Yes, not much ACTION, mostly twinkie words. Maybe, just maybe, though---after a while, and the rolling SHINING OF LIGHT, in all dimensions, like those poor Iraqis who were betrayed, in 1991, a large enough group of humans will replay the Flower Power idealism, in a PARTY OF THE AGES. Imagine the passion and the commitment of the crazed anti-war idiots, of today, and the numbers of people who protested the Vietnam war, multiplied by ten, and not protesting, but CELEBRATING the NEW AGE! Hey, let's go all the way! The humans alive today deserve a celebration like the one after WW II, only this time, it should be every human on Earth! Go ahead and play this movie---a DAY OF ENLIGHTENMENT, with there being NO HUMAN who doesn't willingly and joyfully join the HUMAN DANCE, in a week-long unifying transcendental and final coming together. Where all the individual differences are RIGHTLY subsumed, in the over-arching, permeating, and mysterious REALIZATION that we are each ONE, IN ALL, IN GOD!

Mattering vs. Nattering People

Who MATTERS?

If something happens, was it inevitable? Yesterday, in regards to some outcome or other, Bernard Lewis said as much---"Since it happened, it was inevitable." What does this statement rest upon? In our CO-PRODUCTION, this human DREAM-MACHINE, with billions of actors, directors, producers, all rolled up into so many ONES, I'd say the primordial MYSTERY is what's labeled as "TIME". Our prescient friend, Nietzsche called it the "it was", the "it will be", and the "it is"---or was it Heideggar? Any sane CO-PRODUCER human soon enough grows up, and joins the TIME CHURCH, who's supreme REVEALED TRUTH is that "Time passes, and what's PAST IS DEAD". Who can argue with a single satori moment, say a glass breaking into many pieces---who can put Humpty back together, again? What an obvious visual event, how cutting edge can you get? If this is so, why are we 'blessed' with so many scholars, who spend their TIME studying history and then selling their excavated opinions? It's well named as a RE-VISION, a LOOK BACK. Yesterday, modernity clashed with antiquity, when passing a soccer game, being played in the mist, a cheer disturbed the air and crossed into my brain, causing me to look at what had happened. Of course, the action was long PAST, but being well programmed, my anticipation, and almost my hand, wanted to reach for the re-play button, so I could see what the commotion was about. But, in the raw out doors, the SCORE was over!

Here is a good way to divide humans. Forget about frivolous games. It's a commonplace that the majority of Americans reach retirement days with hardly any savings, and are totally dependent on the welfare of the productive members of society for what's called social security. Writing as one who's fit that category all his life, until recently, the exigency of fending for oneself has its positive aspects. Life is much more immediate. Rich people, or even well-off ones, inevitably lose the hard edge---just do a flash back to the pro athletes in the fifties compared to today's multimillionaires. In most places on Earth, most people are living like a prisoner-of-war, trapped by the 'system', which is usually a brutal hierarchical dog-eat-dog lawless---or, rather, law-of-the-jungle-like---place. Only the strong survive. And, here we have America, trying to pick off those 'REGIMES' that have become a threat to itself. How lucky the Iraqi people are! So, these are the people WHO MATTER---taking humanity as a single living body, the places such as North Korea and Iraq and Iran and Syria are like lymph nodes, gone awry, stewing in their creations of deadly poisons, rushing to find a way to spread it to all parts of the body.

According to Gaia theory, humanity is meant to be the benign controller of Earth, to shape and build that mythological Garden of Eden, FOR REAL. America houses the visitation from on High, expressed in the founding documents of individual freedom. Overarching even the Gaia thrust is ALL, the Absolute Radiant Transcendental One, which also permeates and IS this Gaia Dream Play---IT-ALL is not able to CARE about the OUT-COME, since there is no difference in IT-ALL. So, "INEVITABLE" is NOT inevitable!

How do people MATTER?

Each human never lives a single instant without facing a reality, and CHOOSING HOW TO ACT. This choosing contributes to the new reality. Thus, each being IS POWER, in action. No man is an island. Moving, the shock of birth itself, physically, molds a life, until death. INEVITABLY. This primal split drives all to crazed distraction, to try to escape the 'obvious' facticity of our separateness. If it FEELS BAD, it must be so? NO? Oh My God, the excruciating pain that came when wrenched out of the oceanic oneness in the womb, sure got my attention! Paradoxically, it's ONLY due to the un-breakable TRUTH of "Only God" that apparent separate human ONES can laugh and dance and enjoy their lives.
Sin, or 'missing the mark', is only apparent. The people who come to this Realization, even if not able to proclaim it publicly, are the MATTERING YEA BOBS!

Who NATTERS?

Then we have the Beelzebubs, bobbing along like lures, ready to snag our confusion, with baited hooks that ONLY SEEM APPEALING. Who are these people? In America, it's the regular suspects, that set of sell-outs, the Loyalists to King "Gorge"--- Left wingers, the State Department, trial lawyers, bureaucrats, most politicians, elected or appointed, academia, Hollywood, Mass Media, et al. Oh, and don't forget the three 'see-hear-speak no 'evil' monkeys', from mainstream religions and science, perhaps the bed, rocking the whole shebang, away to crying in sorrow and pain. It's TIME to rehabilitate that famous phrase from Pat Buchanan (right?), "The NATTERING NAY-BOBS of NEGATIVITY." Now, he ARE one, too!

Here's an analogy---the American Globe-trotters just put on their most up-to-date show, in Iraq, against the Washington Generals (the Nay-Bobs of Negativity), and essentially, they are playing for show, since the opposition is non-existent. It's TIME for powerful beauty in motion, with slam dunks, and long shots blind-folded, etc. BUT!!! The ubiquitous hand-wringers, the REFEREES, the rule enforcers, from the UN and the OLD EUROPEAN elites, with their compadres in the State Department, are braying away, nay, nay, nay! What happened doesn't NATTER! Notice their use of the neutral word, "HAPPENED"? As natural critics, NON-ACTION VILLIANS, they are constitutionally unable to notice ACTION HEROES, such as Bush and his well-led brave humans, who just liberated Iraq. To these NATTERERS, they can always rely on Henry Waxman's statement, "What's the difference?" "It doesn't MATTER!" "WHO CARES?" OR----"SO WHAT?"

So, the POWER PLAY between the Black Hole crowd, the Nattering NAY-SAYERS, and those who are in that well named ARENA of ACTION, the Mattering YEA-SAYERS---and DOERS!---is where all the future ACTION, in America, will be. Now that the LIGHT-BRINGERS have brilliantly SHONE how it can be done, in Iraq, the TIME is RIFE with opportunity.

DON'T GO WOBBLY in VICTORY!

The TIME has come to turn the NAY-BOBS into BLOBS, slobs, globs of snot---which is their true nature, beneath all the well-groomed FACE: appearances, merely. It's always a MATTER of TRANSCENDENCE. For Bush, now is the TIME for him to see, totally clearly, who his enemies are, and who is pulling him and pushing him to continue on the FREEDOM PATH. That wonderful grounding statement he made, early on in his administration, that "YOU ARE EITHER WITH US, OR AGAINST US" must be used like a CLUB on every person, event, situation, country, that he must be decisive about. Maybe he's had a good training in Geometry, especially the proving of Theorems. So that, with the most basically assumed axiom being 'INDIVIDUAL HUMAN FREEDOM", and a vision of a human family, that sprouts in this way, nation by nation, he will be easily guided to choose the perfect ways to proceed.

Middle East Seminar

The lessons go on, for me, wrt the efflorescence of the history of the Middle East. Today, a free schooling was offered to all by C-Span II, with Bernard Lewis, about the best scholar available, for three hours, as he shone bright with a lifetime's gain of knowledge, but am besten, WISDOM. Who says old people are worthless? Another wonderful in-depth piece, by Robert Kaplan, in The Atlantic Monthly, available at Realclearpolitics.com, gave the facts, ma'am, about Yemen and Eritrea, as of today. And, of course, we are able to push a simple remote TV button, 24/7, and watch history unfold, in Iraq.

WHAT'S WHAT

I remember when I first became totally enthused about Hitler and Germany, as history, and eagerly read a bunch of extremely detailed books, from the "Night of the Long Knives", which described the murder, in 1934, of Ernst Rohm, and the Brown Shirts, by Hitler and his top gang, to eliminate potential competitors,to "Inside the Third Reich", by armaments minister, Albert Speer, and the others. The reason I bring this up is that Lewis explained how much the Nazi ideology and organization was still alive and, ILL, in the Middle East. The anti-Semitism of Muslims is an aberration, according to him, and a joke he told illustrates this---When the Jordanians and the Israelis were negotiating a truce, in a time-out, when chit-chatting, the Israeli complained about how bad it was for Israel, since they were surrounded on all sides by enemies. The Jordanian would have none of this. He said, Jordan had it worse, since it was surrounded by Arab FRIENDS. Tribes will be tribes!

TRIBAL BEHAVIORS

This is, I think, the key to understanding the future for ALL of the underdeveloped world, and the Mid-East is no exception. The story of Yemen was chilling---there are about 20 million humans, on a strip of land that is running out of water. I'm sure the fact that almost all the boys-men own and carry an AK-47, at all times, is well known. It struck me that men will be men, so, just as the technologically advanced USA has developed the World Wide Wrestling Federation, places like Yemen find a way to coalesce into STREET GANGS---it makes our concern about drug gangs in ghettoes look like a tea party. As long as places like Yemen have oil, and even other places have whatever, and since the guns and bullets have already been obtained, well.... Who's going to bother to jump into all those REAL QUAGMIRES?

STRAIGHT LINE BOUNDARIES

The other illusion to never buy is natinhood, short of, maybe, Egypt, in all of the Mid-East, and most of Africa. We Westerners are so imbued with our own history, and all the wars that were fought in order to settle our boundaries, we assume it's the same in the low rent places, whereas it's THE TRIBES, STUPID! Here's the way I see it---the State Department and the UN are of a piece, in this sense: KEEP THINGS THE SAME! Again, WHO BENEFITS? The regnant elite bureaucrats, in smooth-talking suits, are EXACTLY the same as the mandarins who closed China, allowing the West to beat them to the New World. And, who are these bureau-rats fronting for? Not the small businesses, but the mega-giant corporations, in a state-business inter-twining death grip, that wants to eliminate the possible competition---these people are NOT FOR FREEDOM for INDIVIDUALS. I consider them to be ZOO KEEPERS, closet racists, who epitomize the a-moral a**holes that try to keep all Americans on the dole.

MELTING-AWAY IRAQ

When all the analyses are done about the shocking and awesome war against Iraq, I predict the left wing will play the "I feel your pain" card for the ----IRAQ ARMY! As well as the 'innocent victims' who died and lost property and suffered all through the last twelve years. Why do I say this? Because I believe we will find out how absolutely pitiful the Iraqi military actually was, and all the bluff-and-strut we got from Saddam and his Ba'athists, before and during the war, will be exposed as about the most extreme mis-leading bull spit, ever. Think about the money aspect. Think about the kinds of weapons (from OLD EUROPE!) and the prices Iraq had to pay (to the happy gougers, France, Russia, Germany, etc!), also. A simple accounting can ascertain the few billions of dollars available for their military, per year, and then there were the sanctions, the palaces, the good life, the expense of running a police state, etc. Yes, the cry-baby lefties will point the finger of SHAME-ON-YOU, AMERICA, for slaughtering those poor lambs. And, yes, it's ALL SADDAM and his coterie's FAULT, truly--I wonder how much play that TRUTH will get? Oh btw, an old "Sunday night at 7:00P.M." habit found me checking out 60-Minutes, tonight. EVERY OFFERING WAS TOTALLY BIASED AGAINST AMERICA! My favorite was a piece that took place in Amman, Jordan, with the talking OLD-HEAD, saying he couldn't find anybody there, who wasn't against the American 'invasion' of Iraq! Shades of that liberal Pauline something-or-other, who said she didn't know anybody who voted for Nixon, after he won in a landslide, in 1972!

Keeping in mind the NO-BOUNDARIES reality for the wandering tribes in the Mid-East, my bet is that the day the Freedom Fighters from America meet at the center of Baghdad, practically all the bad guys will have escaped---maybe they made excellent plans for this GREAT ESCAPE. And, then, we'll have a 'country' that resembles that tasty beef, with marbled fat all through the muscle. The big question might be, 'How many of the bad guys will get away to places, like Syria and Iran, to re-join others, who want to continue the Terrorism?' We may be eating an IRAQI-MELT, for some time. I love it, though. I hope this squeezing diet goes on for as long as it takes, and the good guys understand, beyond the State Department flumoxery, that this WAR against TERRORISM is trans-state-hood! What IS SYRIA, anyway? Remember PATTON, and save lives by herding up all the crazy nuts, and roasting them!

DOMESTIC IMPLICATIONS

Did you happen to see the story that California is going to fire 25,000 out of 100,000 teachers, due to a budget crisis? Here, on Oregon, the school districts eliminated about 10 days, so we're having a lot of three-day week-ends. If California must actually do this extreme act, what will that do to Grey Davis' standing with the teacher's union? I hope he's recalled! What a total knucklehead! Here's a personal tale of how he's screwed my life up. By creating such a mess, by spending way more than raised in taxes, and by completely flubbing the electrical power budget, this created an over-supply of teachers. Where will they go? Here, in Oregon, believe it or not, there's already an over-supply of SUBSTITUTES! Of course, liberal Oregon with 8.6% unemployment, is good to teachers, so subs get around $130 per day, compared to $90-108 in San Diego. Well, having spent the third winter here, and realizing I don't like the cold weather, I was thinking of moving back to San Diego--and now? There'll be a glut of subs! To make it even worse, for me, I'd been wondering if maybe Arizona would be better weather, and an Internet search led me to Tucson---6th best place to retire, 3rd best bike paths! I was stoked---then, I checked a few school districts, and they pay $75 per day! What a difference! Here's the shit-kicker---I did look at one of the pay schedules for a district, I forget where, but with a normal education---some post graduate degree---after only ten years, a regular teacher is paid $50,000, plus benefits ! After 20, about $70,000! Yikes!

State budget crises do come and go, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise, for school choice. Arizona does have a ton of charter schools, though, so maybe I'll 'GO SOUTH-EAST' as a 'young' man, in the pioneer and entrepreneurial spirit, and see what happens. Hey--I noticed some districts were hiring crossing guards, for close to $10 per hour!
