Moving Stars

We are ALL, moving stars. Remove the stare, the glassy-eyed and impolite 'lover's look into the soul', find the disinfectant that keeps the view in motion, that ever RE-VIEWS. Each person is a movie star, with there truly being NO DISTINCTION between popular, well-paid and famous stars, and the lowest human, struggling to stay alive. Each one is ONE, A is A. Each one plays---PLAYS!---the starring role in the life chosen by that ONE, AS that ONE.

What's the difference between STARING and STARRING? When does a LOOK become a STARE? Or a TOUCH a FEELING-UP? Can LISTENING become HEARING, intimately? On a higher level, we value thinking---can MENTAL intercourse, of a respectful nature, turn into MIND-FUCKING? It seems to me that DURATION, or TIME, is the deciding factor. Maybe it's a form of invasion and conquering, of a piece with the cat that fixes it's STARE on a bird, patiently, until the perfect opportunity arises for dinner.

Where does PAYING ATTENTION to an other---we all CRAVE this!---go awry? The way people spend their lives, in the USA, these days, needing to work about one fifth of their lives to pay someone else to clean up their bodily 'wastes', meaning GO TO DOCTORS, who sure get paid well to LISTEN, and then relieve suffering, says it all. Not to mention all the HEAD SHRINKS.

The whole world is an ashram. ALL is GURU. "And God so loved man that He gave His only son...", this insight ever prevails. The key word, IMO, is 'only'. The common belief is that 'only' means that there is just one of something, a unique something, over against the rest of IT-ALL. Actually, a truer understanding may be this---take the word 'ONLY' and step back to before it was contracted from ONE and --LY. This 'ONE' originally, and truly, always, tries to indicate the ALL, than which there is no other. The '-LY', what is it? Consider 'HAPPILY'. Adding the '-LY' to 'HAPPY' dictates the HOW, or the MANNER of the HAPPY. Or, I dare say it--- AS, BEING! So, my view is that 'ONLY' really says the ONLY possible thing--- BEING ONE. BEING ONE. Thus, the 'only Son' God gave says that all 'you's' who can read and understand these words ARE AS ONE AS JESUS. Justice is SO--- turning to the East and the Guru Principle.

Any egoic 'one' who has the wit and need to turn to a True Guru soon encounters some infinitely paradoxical statements. First, 'The Guru is 'you', to begin with'. He doesn't set out to enlighten 'you'. He ABSORBS 'you', he DESTROYS 'you'. Here is where the sublime paradox shines---there never is any 'you', ever, so the 'destroying' is a simple awakening of this Realization. In the Real World, glimmers of this are had, when in extreme situations, when the mind-netting mesh is rendered questionable or even illusory, on drugs or in danger or when approaching sure death. Thus is ALL GURU---anything any 'you' experiences serves enlightenment, RE-FLECTS to the absurdity of assumptions. It's so simple. The eyes capture REFLECTIONS of LIGHT. PERIOD. ERA. CYCLE. That's what a Guru does! Likewise, the entire world is an ashram. What is an ashram? A group of people---we aren't frogs or walls!---certainly inhabits a very limited surface of the Earth. Each 'one' as ONE, the ALL, chooses to appear under very constraining conditions---the definition of economics says it all: the base is SCARCITY. SCARE CITY! The ashrams of deeply spiritual adherents impose extreme demands, much more difficult to follow than those faced by the 'regular fellahs' in the normal society, anywhere. Nevertheless, the 24/7 conditions are CONDITIONS! Do you think they are accidents?

STARRING MOVES

We Americans, today, are still very UGLY, in the eyes of most of humanity. They 'HATE' us. Now, there's an extreme SPLIT! Being that Amerindian in an other's mocassins, say in Africa, or in China, working hard, 80 hours a week, how could ONE fail to feel very unconnected to the GOT-IT-MADE current crop of inhabitants living inside the borders of the USA? The ALL SHINES ON! ALL.

Cover Dis-Cover Re-Cover Un-Cover

Hovering here, happily, the thought of a RECOVERING alcoholic jumped me, instantly exploding into all possible lines, resembling the way a hand grenade fills space with broken fragments. Could you say I am a RECOVERING substitute teacher, now, or do I have to stop fulfilling that function, first? Picture all the wounded soldiers, such as a Bob Dole, spending time RECOVERING from their bodily damage. Apply this paradigm to all ASSUMED IDENTITIES, from here to eternity, and back. All at once. In the political arena, the situation for humans is very sick, so there exists many people who need to RECOVER from beliefs in ideologies, such as Communism, Liberalism, et al, that are, in effect, Entropy-In-Action, diseases that are sure to bring about massive death and destruction. May the RECOVERY time be short and sweet! The religious dimension is about 99% confused, sick-in-the-belief-system, stuck in Provicialism, Separatism, and if it doesn't find proper Religionists Anonymous 12 step program, ASAP, and forever spend time in RECOVERY, as you see today, with Islamo-Fascism, humanity is sure to eat its own, more Entropy-In-Action. We also need to RECOVER from the racial wars, and truly live a color-blind life. In the far-off future, humans can look forward to RECOVERY ROOMS for the most basic wrong assumption, the belief in an ego, Narcissism.

Imagine the opening of clinics, based on the Betty Ford model, where Liberals can go to be dis-abused, cleaned up, enlightened, shown where they went so badly wrong, and take responsibility for their own political live, by living in RECOVERY MODE, for the rest of their lives. Just so for all the other deadly separative belief systems--- racial, religious, ethnic, sexual, etc. Maybe that's what's happening right now, as the clash of opposing belief systems can't help but find common ground on which to ARM WRESTLE, to death, for some. Looking at Earth from afar, might it not be true that the entire PLAY, dominated by humans, is one big RECOVERY ROOM?

COVER

Start at the beginning, which is always happening. Born humans are quickly programmed to forget the oceanic oneness they emerge from, and totally believe they are only the ego, completely and wholely cut off from all that is outside their boundary, the skin. The useful fiction, the "I", which is truly just the body, talking, is mistaken for its object---you don't eat a menu, but you do seem to pretend the NAME is what it points to! This is the first COVERING! And, we spend our lives COVERING UP this silly split, even with killer force indignation, righteousness! We have a growing wardrobe, too, way beyond simple physical clothing, into the emotional, mental, and spiritual. We keep many plates SPINNING---all the while, surfaces determine the play, and superficial is the ground.

DIS-COVER

Meanwhile, not being content to be motionless, and at the deepest core, humans PLAY, by seeking for a way out of this self-imposed exile, with the highest geniuses DIS-COVERING seemingly new ways to arrange ALL-THAT-IS, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Change is constant. Keep the change! COMING! Therefore, language tries to escape its own spell, by applying the nothing, the NO, to the initial COVER . There is a DIS-LIKE, possible, putting the DIS in front of the word LIKE, which essentially recapitulates the terrible-two's penchant for saying NO! Here we have the basic form, using the DIS===NOT , applied to the COVER, an action the is always happening---the emporer is wearing no clothes. It looks to me that UN-COVER means basically the same thing, as DIS-COVER, but I don't think CW understands DISCOVER in this way. Right here, we have a fork in the road, which has been debated forever--- when someone comes up with something new and unknown, such as Newton's new math, was it all always THERE, and they just found it, like turning over a rock and picking up what's under it, or did they create it out of thin air? Consciousness PLAYS.

RE-COVER

This word, also, is duplicitous. In one sense, it's possible to RE-COVER a sofa with new material. When the word is used as RECOVER, with no dash between RE and COVER, what comes to mind, for me, is using duct tape to restore to something to use. A soldier who's been distorted by bullets, and has holes in the body, RECOVERS this potentially mortal gap in a human way, which means the body is made WHOLE, again. Ah, so maybe RE-COVER and RECOVER are the same!

When you get to the crux of the matter, the CROSS IN THE ROAD, X marks the spot, so that the start of the race is the COVER. The drawing of a distinction, forming a boundary with an inside and an outside, and believing they are ABSOLUTELY different, is the always-occurring action, and the word COVER works well----think of the COVER of a baseball. Then, in a most humorous YIN/YANG way, this turn must provoke the feeling of DIS-EASE, which leads to the RE-COVER, UN-COVER, and DIS-COVER. The latter three words are symbols for the same action----peel back the mask!

More PLAY is living/dying to be engaged in. COVER is both a noun and a verb, pointing at REST and MOTION. In the use of RE-COVERING, as written here, it's mostly about action, so the noun side of the coin isn't prominent. What I want to do is to remove the "C", also, and going thus deeper, expose the hiding preposition, OVER. Yes, depending on the point of view, you could say that the skin is OVER what's UNDER it! Let's UNDER-STAND this, and also OVER-RUN it, all the space-time!

Allow ALL to PASS, and BE BRIGHT in the PRESENT.

Give the EYES a rest. No TV, movies, hustle-bustle social world.
Give the EARS a rest No music, talking, etc---- SOUND-BUSTERS!
Give each SENSE a rest. No thing.
Give MIND a rest. No thinking allowed!

Just BE. RE-COVER this PASSION!

Who knew, boo hoo---Aversion Therapy for Democratic Party

There's a cancer on the Democratic Party. The universe is lawful. You become what you 'eat', in a wider way, 'what you meditate, or put your attention, on'. "Lawful" is growing up, for the Party-of-the-Left, over, and out--- it's good bye the the letter "L", exposing the truth: AWFUL! It's been bad enough we had to put up with the theft of the word "Liberal", in the Classical meaning, as the "LEFT-OUT'S" turned it on its head! For too many decades, as they clung to power while being brain-dead, sucking off the still-robust creative producers, like the BAD PARASITES they were. All BAD things must come to an end!

Reading what Novak reported, about what Sharpton means for the liberals, was a welcome splash of cold water. It looks like they are going to be torn apart, from within, as he won't hold anything back, happily bringing up all the skeletons in the closets that the liberal media has been able to keep hidden, like Kennedy's ONE BRIDGE TOO FAR. Here is where the liberal cure happens! Who knew the buffoon, Al Sharpton, was to be the one who demolished their house of cards? And, then there's the WILD CARD, and I do mean WILD---uncivilized, un-tamed, beast!--- Hillary Clinton, behind the bushes, awaiting her turn. To boot, we still have Bill Clinton to KICK AROUND! "What goes up, must come down!" This bodes extremely well for the political and economic reality in America, and later the whole world.

As Krauthammer pounded the dire future into consciousness, and the treasonous non-action of the past ten years, based on Clinton's sheer and utter disregard for defending the Constitution, kicking the can on down the road, it forced me to realize that, while, yes, there are bound to be spectacular attacks, using WMD---lawfully, given the irresponsibility of Clinton and ALL LIBERALS---when all is DONE and SAID, my guess is mankind will survive this cleansing, this LIBERAL COLONIC. So, that a GREAT LESSON will have been learned, physically, in undeniable outcomes. Meaning? Imagine two sine curves, out of phase, exactly, one labelled "L" for Liberal, and the other "F" for Free. So, in the terms of the "L" curve, it went UP, UP, and finally peaked with Clinton's success, becoming elected and ruling for 8 years. Simultaneously, the "F" curve was at the bottom of its path, sort of turning up with all the chicanery about Clinton becoming public. Well, as high as the "L" curve got, it is on its way DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, and must, AWFULLY, go a long ways to balance the UN-LAWFUL High it reached. This is good news! Maybe the picture is too simplistic, and we should use a polynomial, with many powers, and see an asymptote on the graph. Use the x-axis for TIME. and the y-axis for POWER. Could it be that the vertical line drawn IN TIME, at 2004 A.D., is where the "L" line starts diving, DOWN, exponentially, and never reaches it? Result? THE DEATH OF LIBERALISM! Let the party keep the name, "Democrat", but gone will be the extreme fools who ruled, along with their idiotic 'non-ideas', wrt economics, especially.

And, the "F" curve? "When you life your eyes, and see the sun arisin', on the far horizan, early in the morning!" On that famous margin, use David Horowitz, or Christopher Hitchens, as prescient examples. We're all Libertarians NOW! That'll be the day! The UP-SWING will be pushed by the active members of the "F" party, and pulled by the vacuum resulting from the actual death of old-guard Liberals, from Mike Wallace to Noam Chomsky, as well as the conversion of pillars of the Left, not to mention the addition of the newbies who are bereft of all the baggage about Right-Left politics, who will be RADICALIZED to join the Freedom Train Party. It should be a marvelous time to be alive, with the fast un-raveling of the diseased Liberals and the faster embracing by free people, world wide, of the leaders and their FREEDOM IDEAS.

Happily, these will be the times that TRY MEN'S SOULS. The AVERSION THERAPY must be real, not just words. Negative feedback MUST be instant, and actual, and a lot of 'innocents' probably will die, but--there are no accidents, ABSOLUTELY. The 'collateral damage' will be a further needed lesson, so consider these 'victims' in the same light as the hundreds of millions of fellow humans who were killed by tyrants, last century----what MUST come to consciousness is this: NEVER AGAIN!

SUBMIT

What does "SUBMIT" bring to mind? In gross terms, humans and all physical 'stuff' must SUBMIT to Physical Laws. Trying to fly by jumping off a building is a losing strategy, unless you follow the law, and find a way to USE the LAWS, which means SUBMISSION is the sine qua non. Build wings, use a parachute, etc. Then, there are the LAWS of SOCIETY, the commonly-agreed-upon ways of behaving, which one disobeys at their own peril. This is a higher level SUBMISSION. A citizen SUBMITS to the LAW, whether made by a dictator or by democracy. The un-kind CUT is the need to SUBMIT to a king. Right now, we all know that the days of KINGDOMS are waning---Democracy IS on the ascendent. So, wise people SUBMIT to the RULE of LAW, not the RULE of MEN. This is what's going on in the world-wide political-economic struggle, nowadays. We're reaching for that Holy Grail, in the THIS-WORLDLY REALM. On a personal level, there is still a low-level fight going on, based on the still-extant belief underlying the Religious dimension---PROVINCIALISM. This is played out by a habit of using the hierarchical scheme where it's not Truly applicable---SUBMITTING to GOD, through a priestly religion. Whatever it's named. You'll know the world has TRULY turned, when it becomes more common and desireable to----

SUBMIT TO GRACE. That'll be the day! My 'belief' is that this is the BIG DRAW, the True Find, which enlivens and brings about the True Conversion for those humans who are on The fast track to God Realization. It will probably take many years for this, and until then we'll have to muddle on through in a MANY-SPLINTERED kind of LOVE.

No Gifts today?

Yes, we have no tomorrows. An unplanned two hour-long Frontline show, tonight, on China, cut through all the verbiage having to do with numbers, you know, economic growth and SOE's---state-owned-enterprises. It's about PEOPLE.

While space-time dances, now you see it and now you don't---YOU?--- remember what BLACK is. Today I got to sub at a school whose 'colors' are BLACKand WHITE. HOW STARK! Amazingly, I was gifted with an encounter with a Teacher's Assistent, and we even got into a discussion about this. I asked her what BLACK was, AS a COLOR. While she was quite alert and eager, she didn't know. As a SPECTRUM MONGER, I got to tell her what COLOR was, and to finish her off with the UN-STORY, full of YIN-YANG, UP-DOWN, LIFE-DEATH, YES-NO, et al, that BLACK is the ABSENCE of COLOR.
THE ABSENCE. Taking attendence? It ain't THERE!

Ah, we're back to BEING. Just try to escape BEING! Asleep? YOU ARE. YOU EXIST. What could the wonderful pithy 24/7 idea mean AND PROMISE, except THAT? Here---I have a test for any 'you'. Try not to be. While 'you' attempt to play out the NOT, as a KNOT, you self-contracted BEING you are, and, who cares how successful you presently ARE--there's that BEING, again!---everything shall PASS.

Here is even better NEWS! It's not JUST that ALL shall pass, that is, change will occur and a better situation is coming up---ecstasy!-- but--------ALL IS PASS! IS!!!

WHAT a GAS!!! Make the Absolute PASSING GAS! Be IT! Touchdown!

Soft Landing POLITICALLY

As the world lags on, with powers being inspired to fight for themselves, I wondered how the SOFT-LANDING concept might apply to POLITICS, instead of ECONOMICS. Just as there are a fintite number of COUNTRIES, each of them with a patriotic MONEY, how about the varying forms of POLITICAL currencies? Just as the USA went off the gold standard, and as the BIG DOG, led the way for other nations to LIE about the standard of value, can't we analogize the POLITICAL systems, taking FREEDOM to be the GOLD STANDARD, and dictatorship the FIAT UN-STANDARD?

No doubt, the USA has itself been slip-sliding away, pulled by those most-egocenrtric Democratic demogogues, so the hard-core FREEDOM-LOVERS behind the castle walls of INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM, have both enemies at home as well as outside the borders. A cornered rat fights to the death, so with nothing to lose, with its very existence in total danger, the packed-together human 'rats' who are most threatened by WMD, those in the Liberal redoubts, no less, mostly on the East Coast, bring to mind the realization of the Japanese Admiral who led the attack on Pearl Harbor, that awakening the giant of America was a DEATH WARRANT. Bringing the twin towers down was a big mistake for the Islamo-fascists. Just as America knows how to party down---witness MTV!---and allow the current-day clowns and jesters to entertain them, with the best of ALL HUMANS, the flip side is true. Much as I disparage the depravity of the state of our 'culture', it must be noticed that there is no dearth of Americans who would love to SERVE the defense of their ability to be so silly. With LIVES and BLOOD. "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation" is STILL a fact, despite the technological breakthroughs that allow way too many of us to have way too much free time. This means, I believe, that a whole lot of people would JUMP at the chance to fight for a cause greater than their hum-drum life.

Here's a fantasy that has been known to arise in my own case, especially in those times when things were going very badly--- when feeling like life has no more future, and with death not only certain, but even a release, why not actually take out a wicked person, that is KILL THEM, as you go? Consider von Stauffenberg, and his co-conspirators, who almost blew up Hitler. Just imagine the millions of lives that could have been spared, as well as all the suffering and the economic ruin, if maybe, even earlier, someone had been able to snuff out this 'demon'---like the beer hall assasination attempt.? Just so with each of the people who daily put their BEING in the line of fire, not just Americans, but our brothers-sisters in the FREEDOM-FARM, who resist the Saddam's of the world. It also crossed my mind that all my Vietnam Veteran Brothers-Sisters, all war vets, are probably experiencing the HIGH that accompanied their time in danger.

People like me, even those who were relatively safe, compared to infantry men, say, who got to spend time in attenuated SLOW TIMES, when you could be destroyed in an instant, could be said to have a leg up on 'civilians', who never felt such a fear. Well, now, especially in compact areas, like large metropolises, might be lucking out, in this REAL bottom line respect. Certainly, the bullets aren't flying, except for those snipers, so it's nowhere near as immediate and impacting, but, do you think that a lot of sobering up might be happening, dare I say it, maturing, growing, putting away childish things?

The Baby Boomers have long been touted as a force that's to be reckoned with. And, when it comes into full BLOOMING POWER, mightn't it not, on the margin, sway the POLITICAL leaning much more to the right? Yes, we must always deal with fringes---take a rug. There'll be a fringe on the right and the left, that's just physics. Then, CUT off some 10% of the LEFT, say. What will have to happen, on that truncated left? MORE FRINGES, and those who do manage to survive the BIG CUT, will likely have the loudest voices and the most out-there ideas! Bless them as they rut-on in their stupidity! But, it seems to me that all the creative action, the life-bringing action, the LOVING ACTION, is on the RIGHT.

So, what about that SOFT LANDING? Who is in World-Wide control of the Political Policy, in the parallel-to terms of fiscal and monetary dimensions? Are they the elite old-world idiots, like a shamed Greenspan, or are they reaching for the Grail of FREEDOM, for all HUMANS? Have they learned from the enemies of FREEDOM, to wit, that the best defense is a great offense, meaning that it's always required to stick that FREEDOM-BAYONET where softness prevails, and GAIN TERRITORY. PEOPLE.

So, paradox rules, even here. In sexual terms, a hard-on is valued, ultimately, usually for newbies, full of gusto. Experience brings a big surprise, over time, the way a soft-on can be freely allowed as a way to extend any love-making time. Just so, in this POLITICAL survival-mode discussion, wrt a SOFT LANDING, I'd say---look for a mixture of SOFT and HARD, depending on the situation, the people, the need, the place, the time. It just could be that Bush, as the tip of the spear, fighting the GOOD FIGHT, world-wide, is just as HARD and as SOFT as mankind desires, in a FREEDOM-LEAP to a higher evolutionary state.

The Myth OF Reality---generic DRAG!

What does DRAG bring to mind? Air resistance, friction, cigarettes? Is the MYTH of REALITY in any time serving a life-enhancing, even a God-Realizing purpose. or does it DRAG the beings who BELIEVE in IT down, to an EARLY EARTHLY grave? Could that be the form of friction, the sculpting tool that REALITY uses to chisel born beings during their life spans, until death do we part? Or, actually, UN-PART the splitiing assumption we choose, as separate selves? A GENERIC DRUG, in common parlance, is a perfect creation for our high-tech times, in that each human is sui generis, and the densely gravity-dominated collection of mass-energy, this oh-so-gross world, is friction-bound from the get-go. Where's the DRUG? It's VERY REALITY, as experienced! Chewing something, right now? FRICTION!

I love OF, "Of Course"! I take it to be the best and brightest of the word-group named PREPOSITIONS. Stuck between MYTH and REALITY, in "Myth OF Reality", it dances away, A WAY, MANY WAYS. Probably the most common understanding would be what's called Conventional Wisdom, that Group-Think set of beliefs the common folk hold to be self-evident. So, there is the arising Reality, and the human beings sharing it agree upon a Myth ABOUT this ground. The Myth is the GROUND rules for behavior, as we live and have our being in and AS this Reality. It's a no-no, for most people, to de-frock this sub-conscious agreement, and only the inspired and 'crazy wise', like a Galileo, dare to challenge, or a Bruno, who was burned at the stake as a heretic.

A second, and for ME, more truthful and cosmically humorous way of exposing "Myth OF Reality" is to say---Reality IS Myth. Really, ask someone to disourse on "Myth", and you're likely to get memories from a grade school class about the Roman and Greek myths, with the underlying idea being that THEY, those ignorant fools, the Romans and Greeks, were so out of it, compared to US, today, and our glorious, victorious proven superiority, the physical world we've been able to create. In essence, Myths are definitely NOT Reality! Turning this on its head, and even penetrating it, fucking it, let the saying "Myth OF Reality" indicate this---you see all the 'out there', as well as you and your 'in here', well, that putative Reality IS a MYTH! Or, as the Hindus call it, Maya, a sweeping illusion, as flimsy as the most delicious or terrible dream you ever had, and couldn't grasp.

What about the "Reality OF Myth"? Are Myths REAL? Not REALLY! Of Course, the big question is, "Is Reality REAL?". This is very tricky---and then, we are shown, yet again, that words ultimately fail as final truths, and that Whatever-Is-Happening plays, aways, as sheer mysterious UN-thinkable joy, hide-and-seek, GAMING us to TAG. The World TAGS ON. And OFF. Off I go, into the wild WHEW WONDER!

You too, except there never Really is any "TOO". As a synonym for "ALSO", "TOO" can exhibit its play, in fast-acting bliss----first, the ALSO undresses as "ALL----SO!!!", as in the feeling at the peak of a sexual orgasm. "This is ALL! SO!!! Just SO!!!" But, the nervous ending slithers back to the base, oh-so-very BASE, by whining, "Also", in the common meaning, that, "ah, so I must be REAL, now, and live in the world of ALSO---that space-time when I am NOT in "ALL SO!!!", wherein there seem to exist a myriad of others, so many TOO's, so many TWO's, multiplying like rabbits, like the digital on-off points computers are BASED on, indeed ARE. ALL this TOO shall PASS, in the sense that human reality, as presently construed, resembles a kidney stone, hard and hardly worth suffering, soon to be blasted to Nirvana, whether by pain-free machine, insight, or harrowing and violent death.

I must be out of my gourd. Ha ha. We all need an outlet to release pent up stress, even in mental terms, especially in WORDS, if the next turn of the screw is to be possible. Every good turn deserves another! Think of MYTH as a screw being twisted into the wood of REALITY. And, simultaneously, vice versa. Now, encompass as much of what you know, say the whole up-rising from the Big Bang right to today, AND BEYOND, including ALL the possible outcomes, and picture, a moving picture, of MYTH screwing REALITY screwing MYTH, in ever more complex ways. In 2003, compared to Greek and Roman MYTHS, we have some massive POWER TOOLS, and we do use them to SCREW AWAY! How Flowers Changed the World

I went back and re-read the ten page chapter from "The Star Thrower" by Loren Eiseley, "How Flowers Changed the World". I'd LIKE to type in the whole piece, little by little, it's SO GOOD, and deserves a most wide reading, but-----
Let me dip and put out some of my favorite parts, all from pages 66-77---

"A little while ago---about one hundred million years, as the geologist estimates TIME in the history of our four-billion-year-old planet--flowers were not to be found anywhere on the five continents. Wherever one might have looked, from the poles to the equator, one would have seen only the cold dark monotonous green of a world whose plant life possessed no other color.

Somewhere, just a short TIME before the close of the Age of Reptiles, there occurred a soundless, violent explosion. It lasted millions of years, but it was an explosion, nevertheless. It marked the emergence of the ANGIOSPERMS---the flowering plants.

Flowers changed the FACE of the planet. Without them, the world we know---even man himself---would never have exiasted. Francis Thompson, the English poet, once wrote that one could not pluck a flower without troubling a star.

A high metabolic rate and the maintenance of a constant body temperature are SUPREME acievements in the evolution of life. They enable an animal to escape, within BROAD LIMITS, from the overheating or the chilling of its immediate surroundings, and at the same TIME maintain a PEAK MENTAL EFFICIENCY.

A high metabolic rate, however, means a heavy intake of ENERGY in order to sustain body warmth and efficiency.

The agile BRAIN of the warm-blooded birds and mammals demands a high oxygen consumption and food in concentrated forms, or the creatures cannot long sustain themselves. IT WAS THE RISE OF THE FLOWERING PLANTS THAT PROVIDED THAT ENERGY AND CHANGED THE NATURE OF THE LIVING WORLD.

The true flowering plants (angiosperm itself means 'encased seed') grew a seed in the HEART of a flower, a seed whose developement was initiated by a fertilizing pollen grain independent of outside moisture. But the seed, unlike the developing spore, is already a fully equipped embryonic plant packed in a little enclosed box stuffed full of nutritious food.

The ramifications of this biological invention were endless. Plants traveled as they had never traveled before. They got into strange environments heretofore never entered by the old spore plants or stiff pine-coned seed plants. The well-fed, carefully cherished little embryos raised their heads everywhere. Many of the old plants with more primitive reproductive mechanisms began to fade away under this unequal contest. They contracted their range into secluded environments. Some, like the giant redwoods, lingered on as relics; many vanished entirely.

The world of the giants was a dying world. ... The old, stiff, sky-reaching wooden world had changed into something that glowed here and there with strange COLORS, put out queer, unheard-of fruits (sounds pretty "GAY" for its time---1978!), and intricately carved seed cases, and, most important of all, produced concentrated foods in a way that the land had never seen before, or dreamed of back in the fish-eating, leaf-crunching days of the dinosaurs.

Flesh eaters though these creatures (saber-toothed tigers, and such) were, they were being sustained on nutritious grasses, one step removed. Their fierce energy was being maintained on a high, effective level, through hot days and frosty nights, by the concentrated energy of the angiosperms. That energy, thirty per cent or more of the weight of the entire plant among some of the cereal grasses, was being accumulated and concentrated in the rich proteins and fats of the enormous game herds of the grasslands.

Apes were to become men, in the inscrutable wisdom of nature, because flowers had produced seeds and fruits in such tremendous quantities that a new and totally different store of energy had become available in concentrated form. ....Down on the grass by a streamside, one of those apes with inquisitive fingers turned over a stone and hefted it vaguely. The group clucked together in a throaty tongue and moved off through the tall grass foraging for seeds and insects. The one still held, sniffed, and hefted the stone he had found. He liked the feel of it in his fingers. The attack on the animal world was about to begin.

If one could run the story of that FIRST HUMAN GROUP like a speeded-up motion picture through a million years of TIME, one might see the stone in the hand change to the flint ax and the torch.

The stolen energy that would take man across the continents would fail him at last. The great Ice Age herds were destined to vanish. When they did so, another hand like the hand that grasped the stone by the river long ago would pluck a handful of GRASS SEED and hold it contemplatively.

In that moment, the golden towers of man, his swarming millions, his turning wheeels, the vast learning of his packed libraries, would glimmer dimmly there in the ancestor of wheat, a few seeds held in a muddy hand. Without the gift of flowers and the infinite diversity of their fruits, man and bird, if they had continued to exist at all, would be today unrecognizable....THE WEIGHT OF A PETAL HAS CHANGED THE FACE OF THE WORLD AND MADE IT OURS."

What a writer! I am drawn to explore, further, how all this applies to the current eye-popping evolutionary event that mankind is choosing. Could the 'giants' be the retrograde dictators, BIG CARNIVORES, like a Saddam, and they are surely FACING an unequal contest? And a North Korea, certainly 'secluded', to be 'admired' in a Ted Kennedy-esque way, for holding on to its niche, so terribly, to remind the world of how necessary the next step is, for mankind's very survival? The seeds of FREEDOM seem to me to resemble angiosperms, from 1776 in America, to now. Lots of ENERGY, per American, compared to the rest of Earth!

As I come to terms with the totality of mankind's 'hatred' for 'America', whether acted upon or just believed, whatever the cause---resentment, envy, whatever---and listen to so-called experts, 'scholars', even some Americans, who worry about An American Imperial Empire, in the making, it helps to remember that nobody knows the future. Even so, what if Iraq is the FIRST shot in sober-minded FREEDOM MONGERING, and all the whiners and hold-backers are exposed as retarding forces, when the BIG-BANGING FREEDOM TRAIN of America displays its FORCE FOR GOOD, laying TRACKS across all of Earth, and building STATIONS in key places, and RUNNING LOCOMOTIVES packed with life-bringing ENERGY?

That's the WAY the FLOWER RUMBLES!

All FLOWS, and RESTS---once we choose to play tag, 'er, that is, make the first distinction, draw the first boundary, split the cosmic egg, limit the game, etc etc etc. Any WAY, let's play with this initial and initiatory HAZING of Radiant Transcendental Being, for fun, into the REST and the MOTION categories.

Take FLOW. Add --ER, and presto! There exists FLOWER. Ah, but, over time, we don't keep the original long "O" sound found in FLOW, replacing it with the "OW" sound, and applying the new word to the myriad COLORFUL sexing parts of plants. The time has come to rehabilitate this error, and flip back into a more basic understanding, a closer-to-the-split TRUTH, by using the "O"-sounding vowel, when saying the word FLOWER. Use Occam's Razor----eliminate the "W" and spell it FLOER. Just doing this reminded me instantly of the French word, "FLUER", which DOES mean FLOWER, n'est pa? Even so, it's not the SOUND---MERE style!---but the congruence the word has with FLOW that counts. After all, and AS ALL, mightn't THE big problem mankind has not solved, to date, is that solidity is an ILLUSION? That is, on the REST-FLOW spectrum, Western Man has mined the REST end, in a most exclusionary way, having almost totally forgotten, WILLFULLY, the FLOW aspect of this DUOPLY. Yes, MONOPOLIES are death, if left to FLOW to their inevitable ENDS! Or, is that to REST in their FAT-CAT certainty? Now, we do face daily punctuation marks, fast FLOWS, called the literal DEATH of our friends and loved ones, so this FLOW is never truly absent---it can't be, since all COINS have TWO SIDES. STILL, and FLOWING, I believe we are too eccentric, in CONVENTIONAL WISDOM terms, almost TERMINALLY ILL with the REST POLE---humanity is FLOWING to the big REST HOME in the SKY!

Paradoxically, ALL is FLOW, and FLOWER, simultaneously. Even in the trickster mode we pretend is true---remember, as good citizens of the Western Scientific Establishment, despite the utter lack of learning at a deep level about Quantum Mechanics, I bet only retarded people DON'T know that all the stuff that the world , and THEMSELVES, is made of, all the elements, are mostly empty space and the essence of each element is FAST ACTION. Those electrons are speeding along! Of course, such knowledge is not apparently USEFUL in getting along with the state of the evolution of Radiant Transcendental Being that has been chosen, as of NOW. Mustn't rock the boat, else it's the insane asylum, here I come! Just thought I'd FLOW along on this idea, for a while.

I read a piece about the shuttle program, entitled "Normalization of Deviancy", and, girl, can't you just imagine the hooks and threads possible with this? The core understanding, perhaps, was this----
"The UN-EXPECTED becomes the EXPECTED becomes the ACCEPTED." Now, this was about engineering and creating new 'toys', which means applying the brain, mixed with current knowledge, and the extant inventory of 'things' with which to build, so it was about PLANS made, which entail uncertainty, inherently. Let your mind go to infinity when putting this metric on the way mankind has evolved. Do you see "Define deviancy down"? What a mixture of FLOWERS we humans have become!

Here's a thought---assume the Adam and Eve story is true, and that we all came from a FIRST COUPLE. Now, work backwards in your personal Family Tree, generation by generation. Have each apparent individual human do this thought experiment, right back to the very FIRST FAMILY. I say this---isn't the obvious conclusion, irrefutable, that each one of us IS ADAM&EVE, incarnate? So what if uncountable YEARS seem to separate any ONE, in 2003, from the certain pair that threw out the first baby! Isn't that drive to reproduce, which we even say (faceitously, thinking we don't really mean it), "the urge for immortality", THE TRUTH---MYSTERIOUSLY! Here we ARE. No, it's not really true that there exists a 'WE' , just like there's no such thing as a stock market, actually, but simply a market of stocks. Yes! 'We' comes from GOOD stock! Like all blondes looking in mirrors, it's always just ME! Cloning IS A FACT, NOW AND FOREVER! So what if we LOOK different, we all come from the same STOCK---that's my final STOCK answer to this story.

On C-Span, yesterday, a book-review interview, by Brian Lamb, of Amy Chua, who wrote "World on Fire", was very eduactional. A 41-year-old daughter of Chinese immigrants, she teaches at Harvard Law School; to me she looked like a beautiful young kid---I must be getting old! She was brilliant! Her story of how small minorities of successful entrepreneurs, like Chinese, at 3% of the population in Indonesia, are hated and endangered by the 'indigenous' majority, put meat on the bones of this reality I've long know about. She helped ratchet up my understanding of the REAL situation across the globe, between all the self-identified ethnic groups, and how sad the future looks, because of all this racial pride. What she had to say sure helped me see things from a different perspective, without actually needing to leave my comfortable abode, in the lucky country of my birth. One BILLION humans live on less than A DOLLAR a day, and another two BILLION on about TWO DOLLARS a day. And, with a 4.7% rise in productivity, last year, on a ten TRILLION dollar economy, the USA effectively added a South Korea to its economic base--this makes me want to compare the brouhaha concerning the rising disparity between a CEO's rewards and the regular worker, in America, to ALL HUMANS. Someone should do a Reality Show, no, an UN-Star Search, to find the human on Earth who lives on the smallest amount---fuck the Joe Millionare idea: take some poor hard-working person from Africa, and make her an instant millionare! Money can't buy love, that's true. And, the 50% of the poor people do LIVE on their pitiful intake, most of them, despite harsh conditions. They do LIVE---and, REPRODUCE, like all good ADAM&EVE'S. As Amy Chua said, finally, and as Reuven Brenner (I think), wrote, the only way to square this poverty circle is for the least of us to have access to CAPITAL, and to have a stake in their work, so they can start the productivity increases needed to become more and more efficient. It dawned on me that this is another way that TIME plays out, since what's really happening when ONE does begin to save, is that they are factually stretching TIME out, planning and working and tending FUTURE RETURNS. This is the way of personal empowerment, of course. A manner of controlling ONE'S own FUTURE, not only back-breaking self SURVIVAL, but self ENHANCEMENT. Make yourself BIGGER and BIGGER! Forget penis enhancers!

One of the dismaying factoids wrt Indonesia was that Chinese and Indonesians don't intermarry, due to the PORK FACTOR. The indigenous Indonesians are MUSLIMS, who eschew PORK, and the Chinese are mighty PORK chewers! This is just more in-your-face evidence of the immaturity of mankind, as far as RELIGIOUS PROVICIALISM goes. How many wars and years will it take to turn around this extreme belief system, the Muslims, especially? It's far past the time to put IT-ALL in GOD-GEAR! Not the separative "God", but the True Radiant Transcendental Reality, of which all, and each is made, and IS.

Sitting on the toilet, last night, in the dark, I wondered if it was necessary to open the eyes--so, I tried it both ways, open and then closed. When there is NO light, eyes are not needed! Here's yet another way to deeply understand the state of UN-CONSIOUSNESS pervading humanity, today. As I wrote before, I believe, someday these days will be labeled as the DARK AGES wrt RELIGION, that is, if we don't follow Atlantis into a sinking feeling. Expand this wondering to MIND, to EARS, to TASTE, to FEELING----If there is no thought worthy of thinking, do we need to OPEN the MIND? When all sounds devolve toward cop-killing rap un-music, do we need to OPEN the EARS, how can it be possible to HEAR the TRUTH? With body-minds becoming ever more desensitized, as they are awash in a sea of bloody stories, as they flood their consciousness with TV, as they get more and more contracted, do we need to OPEN up to FEELING?

Hope springs maternal, so with the surge in bad guys comes a balancing splurge in GOD-GUYS, so the SPECTRUM of CONSCIOUSNESS gets to see if it can out-shine the SPECTOR of COMMUNISM, and of TERRORISM. Mankind DOES live in an interconnected world, and even in the poorest regions, the possibility exists for rapid change---think of the 1950's in America, when the TV was slowly being purchased by the richest of us, and those without one would gather to watch. These kinds of seeds are sprinkled everywhere, even in darkest Africa. This means, to me, that it's important to keep in mind that it's the NOOSPHERE, STUPID! Minds can be changed, which can change behavior, one by one---
RAINDROPS KEEP FALLIN' ON MY HEAD!

Spiritual RIGHTS!

We don't have the RIGHT to call ourselves Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, any more. We don't have the RIGHT of PROVINCIALISM, since all humans are NOW citizens of the whole world. Thanks, Internet! Right NOW we are experiencing, hopefully, the final death throes of this killer application of consciousness. Those groups who are most rabid in their absolute separatism, epitomized by the Wahhabi cult that claims to be the one and only true form of Islam (and death to all who don't believe), have to be put in a closet. They need to be disarmed, and given time to convert from their suicidal mission. The first step toward Spiritual Maturity is presently being shown, by the need to protect itself, by the USA and its allies. COOPERATION and TOLERANCE have to ground humanity, as the first stage in the lift-off into a new world order.

Why don't we mimic all the separatists, all the Animal Rights, Women's Rights, Gay Rights, Minority Rights, et al groups, and form a Universalist group pushing and pulling for SPIRITUAL RIGHTS? Instead of proselytizing in public, whether in an outrageous way, like the Jesse Jackson's of the world, or in a subtle way like the Catholic Church, with an actual form of WARFARE that fights to JUST convert 'non-believers' to your provicial side, why not engage in PEACE-FARE, that lights to awaken the necessary true CONVERSION, the basic Realization being that we are each Spiritual beings, simply in fleshy bodies, FOR NOW.

Consider this. The opposite side of the huge mis-take in consciousness by Western Man, who is now dominating the world, is total belief in Science, the religion for atheists, with the deadly SIN being the closed-minded, active refusal to transcend mere materiality. Let us dissect the whole human reality, as currently understood by cutting edge science. What is the bottom line? All is Energy-Mass, describable as Space-Time. Says who? How is it possible to KNOW this? Doesn't there have to BE a perceiver? Yes. BEING, or EXISTENCE, is FIRST. Also, isn't a whole lot of awareness going on? Are YOU AWARE of this? Of course! So, CONSCIOUSNESS is FIRST, as well. The third form of this bottom line and top line is harder to accept---we are living at the most solid and grossest sink hole of IT-ALL, after all, far from the etheric dream world! We do get bodily 'glimpses' of the BLISS, which is FIRST, those million dollar moments, expressed most commonly by random orgasm.

Thus, these undeniable 'legs' of our appearance never fail to keep the stool we sit on AS ITSELF. Instead of an Arms Race, underlying ALL-THAT-IS, and permeating, as well, think of these as what ARMS the SPACE and TIME. Fling these happy warriors in all directions, at and AS all times! Whatever arises, tend these blossoms, attend these 'churches'. Allow them to be the form of understanding as you transcend ALL. Play away, UN-characteristically. That is, let there be NO qualifications, since 'you' aren't qualified to KNOW, EVER, ANYTHING, and YOU are not in any way QUALIFIED, in TRUTH. Yes, as the apparently named person, 'you' seems to have certain karmic limitations and qualities, and 'you' have to take them into account as 'you' live. But, rest in that of which 'you' come, BEING-CONSCIOUSNESS-BLISS, and simply and humorously USE them as the PLAYING FIELD. Enjoy the GAME! Say one of your habits is regular intakes of alcohol. Transmogrify the cliche-ridden, but devastatingly cutting and ever-present, APPEARANCE, saying, "YOU LOOK GOOD", into "That's a fine SWIG you've got there!" After all, what you eat is what you are, so any swallow comes home to roost AS YOU--- a true lagging indicator! See that red-nosed reprobate? Kegs and kegs of FINE TUNING!

In this light, how do lagging indicators, Re-Plays, Pre-Plays, Un-Plays relate? They PLAY---A WAY!

Some years ago the wonderful naturalist Loren Eiseley wrote a piece, about how flowers changed the world, in a book called "The Star Thrower"---highly recommended! His exposition of the way evolution unfolded over the millennia was totally convincing and applicable to what's happening, now, as the latest model of BEING-CONSCIOUSNESS-BLISS shows itself---human beings. "As above-so below" can be seen as "As inside-so outside", and using the TIME paint brush, "As then-so now".Right NOW, INSIDE the body, there exist whirlpools of SPACE-TIME of the most exquisite acting form, called chakras. Did you know these are actually FLOWERS? We even use the idea when talking about an individuals growth----"The flowering of a beautiful mind". Or, "She blossomed into a stunning 'swan' from an ugly duckling."

I can see how an entity, who lives millions of years, could describe how HUMANS changed the world, just like FLOWERS. Before FLOWERS marched across the earth, the landscape consisted of green and brown colors, essentially. A successful innovation, in its time-place, but, not to put down weeds, but that's a good way to understand their place on the evolutionary scale. Then, FLOWERS put down roots, slowly but surely, and soon enough, in geological time, without wiping out their precursors, expressed more power and efficiency, by being BEAUTIFUL. Just so, for mankind, the FLOWERS from the West have been squeezing out those from the East. The problem is that the seeds of the WEST'S, indeed all of mankind's, demise are inherent in this outcome, because this winning has been bought by selling the soul to the devil---that is, by splitting up ALL into distinct parts, absolutely, and refusing to acknowledge the higher PARTICIPATORY CULTURE of the East. Western man is man bereft of Spiritual knowledge. He lives based only on the lower chakras, and is busily snuffing out all the traces of the Higher Culture that have flowered in the East.

This is why we need SPIRITUAL RIGHTS! It's just not RIGHT! To illustrate---we celebrate the Judeo-Christian grounding of Western Man, attributing to this the proven successes, over the centuries, against the other people on Earth. Still, I wonder how many of us know the whole story. Christianity is a RE-VISION of paganism. It was only due to the abrogation of it by the emperor of Rome, about 1700 years ago, that it became the major force it did. What happened? The Teaching OF Jesus was replaced by a teaching ABOUT Jesus. It was ADOPTED by the Roman State, which needed something to help it keep order, and acquire territory. The opiate of the masses. Far and away from the true Teaching of the True Siddha, Jesus, which was about actual God Realization for those who followed HIM. Imagine that! It's like the way Madison Avenue always takes over the latest revolutionary deal, and 'tames' it, makes it its OWN. So, what's been called Christianity even since, has nothing to do with Christ! Except, it's an abomination against Him, the true Anti-Christ, basically, merely a religion of the priests, for the priests, and by the priests---sort of like the public school system; of a piece, actually.

Put all this in your wondering and mysterious 'pipe', and smoke it to the bottom of your feet. Things are NEVER as they seem. That's the way the flower crumbles!
